We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Memory Care Open House at Creekside Continuing Care Community. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the services and support available within our Memory Care neighborhood.

Whether you are simply curious, would like to become more familiar with the space, or have a friend or loved one you may be concerned about, we welcome you to stop by and explore. Our team will be available to answer questions and share how our program is designed to support comfort, safety, and meaningful connection.

During the open house, guests will have the opportunity to tour our cozy, homelike Memory Care apartments, meet members of our care team, enjoy light refreshments and live music, and connect with residents who already call Creekside home. There is no formal presentation—just a relaxed afternoon to explore and learn more at your own pace.

Residents, family members, friends, and members of the community are all welcome to attend.

Much enjoyed student choir visit today. The presence of children brings fresh energy and joy, music acts as a powerful tool to stimulate memory and engagement. Music can lower heart rates and promote relaxation. Intergenerational visits break down social barriers and foster meaningful relationships between different generations. The children gain empathy, patience, and compassion, while seniors share wisdom and experience the world through the eyes of the younger generation.

Playing games as a senior citizen offers significant mental, social, and physical benefits, including enhanced cognitive function, reduced stress and loneliness and increased social connection and emotional well-being. Engaging in puzzles, card games help maintain memory, improves mental agility, physical coordination, provides a sense of achievement and independence.
