❄️Preparing for Winter Weather at Twin Lakes ❄️

As this weekend's anticipated winter weather approaches, our teams are already hard at work behind the scenes to ensure our residents remain safe, warm, and well cared for.

✔️ Grounds, maintenance, and dining services have stocked up on essential supplies
✔️ Generators have been fully topped off and tested
✔️ Grounds will soon begin pre-treating roads and will continue throughout the storm to keep entrances and pathways clear
✔️ Team members across all departments are ready to step in wherever needed to support resident safety and comfort
✔️ Complimentary overnight accommodations are available for staff
✔️ Complimentary on-site childcare is provided so staff can remain focused on resident care

These preparations allow our dedicated team members to remain on campus and fully supported, ensuring continuity of care throughout the storm. We want residents and families to feel confident knowing that they are in good hands.

For everyone’s safety, we encourage loved ones to postpone visits during the worst of the weather. Thank you to our staff for their extraordinary commitment and to our families for your understanding and trust.

🌟 Yvonne – Independent Living Housekeeper
Yvonne is a valued member of our Environmental Services team whose dedication helps keep operations running smoothly. She consistently steps up when needed, even taking on leadership responsibilities such as scheduling and resident communication. Yvonne’s professionalism, efficiency, and care have earned the respect of both residents and colleagues alike.

🌟 Chris – Grounds
Chris truly embodies a willingness to help wherever needed. Recently, he noticed a resident struggling with their vehicle and didn’t hesitate to stop, assist, and ensure the car was safely moved out of the road. His thoughtfulness and determination to go the extra mile made a lasting impression and are a wonderful example of service in action.

🌟 JD – CNA, Coble Creek Skilled Nursing & Rehab
JD is known for his compassion, attention to detail, and genuine care for every resident he serves. He consistently takes time to notice preferences and ensure residents feel valued, respected, and comfortable. A former resident even shared how JD’s kindness and empathy made a lasting difference in their well-being—a true reflection of the heart behind his work.

🌟 Jamie – Chef, Deacon Pointe Assisted Living
Jamie is recognized for his can-do attitude, flexibility, and constant willingness to help. Whether assisting residents during unexpected challenges or ensuring meals and special requests are handled with care, Jamie approaches everything with a positive spirit. His teamwork, adaptability, and warm smile make him an invaluable part of the community.

🌟 Janette – LPN, Moneta Springs Memory Care
For more than seven years, Janette has been a steady, compassionate presence for residents, families, and fellow staff. She is a trusted mentor to new team members and provides calm, reassuring leadership—especially during end-of-life care. Janette’s compassion, flexibility, and teamwork truly reflect the values of Twin Lakes.

🌟 Tashia – Purchasing Specialist
Tashia is recognized for her proactive support, organization, and collaborative spirit. Since joining Twin Lakes, she has streamlined purchasing processes, improved efficiency, and helped departments secure the supplies they need—while also identifying cost savings. Thanks to her leadership, we’re moving toward improved electronic supply management that will benefit teams across campus.

The Twin Lakes Choir outdid themselves this year during their annual highly anticipated Christmas concert. The audience enjoyed singing along to the classics and listening to the beautiful melodies provided by the choir.

Moments like these reflect our team’s dedication to creating a truly homelike atmosphere—one filled with warmth, familiarity, and connection. Through thoughtful, structured programming, our staff nurtures a strong sense of well-being and belonging for every resident.
