Last week RIL’s Debbie Behnke-Hassler and her husband Charlie Hassler, were both honored at the 25th Annual Educational Leadership Recognition and Scholarship Dinner hosted by the Salem County Vocational Technical School District.

Every year the event brings together a who’s-who of Salem County to honor a person or persons making a difference, both small, and large, in the county.

RIL’s Executive Director Lisa Killion-Smith had the pleasure of introducing Debbie to the crowd through a series of personal stories that spans their over 20-year friendship.

The event raises money for student scholarships at SCVTSD.

Congratulations to Debbie and Charlie!
