Addiction rarely shows up all at once.

Most of the time it creeps in slowly.
You start noticing small things that don’t feel right.

They stop coming around like they used to.
Money starts disappearing and the explanations stop making sense.
The person you know feels… different.

A lot of families see these signs but talk themselves out of it.

“If I bring it up, I’ll push them away.”
“Maybe it’s just a rough patch.”

When someone who’s been counted out gets handed a microphone instead of a label… we call that a full circle moment!

We’re so proud of our peer support team member Marlene McGill for sharing her experience and hope with the men’s Healing Place in Campbellsville. There’s something different about hearing it from someone who’s actually lived it.

This is a part of what recovery looks like to a lot of us. It’s not just programs, but people. People willing to show up, be real, and sit in a room long enough that maybe hope to starts feeling believable again for someone.

We love partnering with other programs and stepping outside our walls to support the recovery community as a whole. Recovery Is bigger than one building. It’s about connection. It’s about carrying hope wherever it’s needed.

Marlene, we’re proud of you. Thank you for loving on people the way you do!!!
