Meet Dr. Crystal Zheng! This new member's research has examined women’s health outcomes following Ebola virus disease and Lassa Fever. Currently she's developing a project on latent tuberculosis infection during pregnancy.

IDSOG's Dr. Haben Debessai provides us with resources for updates in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) illness prevention in infants/children. She notes that while (as of Sept) final recommendations were still pending, clinicians should note these potential changes to RSV illness prevention.

Meet Dr. Katherine Rhodes! This new member's lab investigates the molecular mechanisms driving Neisseria gonorrhoeae pathogenesis and interaction with the microbiota of the reproductive tract. Her main interests lie in how these interactions influence the outcome of disease and how they can be leveraged for development of new antimicrobials.

She's excited for the opportunity to form new collaborations and gain more exposure to clinical perspectives on STIs and reproductive health!
