My journey as a Life + Wellness Coach.
💟 For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed good and nourishing foods, being active and interested in listening to people’s stories.
💟 When I was a teenage, my dad was diagnosed with Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Not only did he treat it with proper nutrition, but he took the whole family to visit a nutritionist. When I walked into her office, I knew that’s who I wanted to be.
💟 When all my friends graduated from high school and began to study business majors, I went for a science major. I picked dietetics and nutrition.
💟 Dang it, it was hard! But I was diligent. At one point, I was serving at church over the weekends, working a part time job, studying full time and training for a triathlon!
💟 When I got married, life took a different direction. I didn’t finish school and that was very difficult. What was all that work for?
💟 Wellness Coaching wasn’t around at that time. But God was preparing me to understand hardship, broken dreams, and unmet expectations. But most of all, I got to practice resilience, grit and perseverance. With pride, you can’t see past your own plan. But with humility, other paths open up and guess what? They’re even better!
💟 When I was pregnant with my third baby, I studied for a Wellness Coaching certifícate from Spencer Institute. “If I like it,” I thought. “I could pursue coaching.” I fell in love with it!
💟 So, I became a certified Coach. I learned so much about first being coachable myself and how to help my clients achieve their dreams by holding space (coaching term for listening without judging) and ask powerful questions to understand themselves and their goal better. Thank you, Beautiful You Academy, for such a powerful training!
💟 I created to help women restore their broken dreams and to know that they can be resilient in what they’re after. The road may not look like you planned it, but with humility and by being coachable you can find something even better!
