Our Roseville location is moving to a new address! 🌟 Starting April 5th, you can find us at:

We'll be shutting down at 3pm on April 1st to prepare for the move and will reopen at our new location on April 5th.

Well, we did it. We made it another year! And what a year it's been. There were balloons, a king was crowned, Barbenheimer set box office records, Damar Hamlin made a full recovery, and Shohei Ohtani signed the biggest contract in sports history. And that's not even half of the exciting events!

Did you happen to see all of these things? Did you have trouble focusing on the screen when watching Barbie or Oppenheimer? Did your eyes bulge out of your head when you saw how much Ohtani made? I think it might be time for an annual eye exam. Which is convenient, because we just happen to know a few great eye doctors...

Hello there! 2023 is almost over. I know, I know, it feels like it just started yesterday. But believe it or not, we're almost to the end of it.
With the ending of the year comes expiring insurance benefits and HSA money! Do you have insurance you didn't use this year? Does your HSA expire at the end of the year? More importantly, do you want to put that money to good use?

We here at Drs. North & Watson would like to with everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful for our wonderful doctors, our hard working, dedicated staff, and especially you, our patients. It is our absolute pleasure to serve your vision needs, and we are genuinely thankful that you come to us and trust us to provide excellent patient care.

Tomorrow, 11/23/23, all 3 of our offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. We will be back to our normal business hours on Friday, 11/24/23. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday! Eat plenty of food, enjoy family and/or friends (or whomever you spend your holidays with!), watch some football (and root on your own fantasy football players, and be sure to tell everyone else who you're excited to see score a TD or get an interception or whatever), maybe play some games (You can't go wrong with charades, or throwing a football around outside), but most importantly, have fun. Work will be ready for you when you go back to the office next week!

Our 3 office managers of our 3 locations recently attended the annual ALLDOCS meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, FL! ALLDOCS is a wonderful organization that allows managers and doctors from subleased stores to interact with one another. At the meeting, there were speakers that presented, and multiple roundtable discussions!

In between the meetings and presentations, they got a chance to sit down and get to know the other managers. Friendships were made, but more importantly, knowledge was exchanged and gained. They came back to MN with excitement and determination!

People keep coming up to me and ask "When is World Keratoconus Day? It's coming up! Remind me when it is and what we're observing!" Well, believe it or not, World Keratoconus Day is today, November 10th! What is Keratoconus, though? I'd be more than happy to educate you!

- Keratoconus is an eye condition in which the clear tissue on the front of the eye (cornea) gets thinner & bulges outward.

- A cone-shaped cornea causes blurred vision and may cause sensitivity to light and glare.

- It is a rare condition, with less than 200,000 US cases per year.

- Usually affects both eyes. However, it can affect one eye more than the other.

- Generally begins to affect people between the late teens and people in their 30s. The condition may progress slowly for 10 years or longer.

- In the early stages of keratoconus, you might be able to correct vision problems with glasses or soft contact lenses. Later, you may have to be fitted with rigid, gas permeable contact lenses or other types of lenses, such as scleral lenses.

In case you were wondering, yes, we are equipped to treat keratoconus. We got into this business to help people with their vision needs, and we intend to do our absolute best to help you see better!
