The sweetest babe, it’s an honor to be your esti! This beautiful client would walk in the halls with her head down avoiding eye contact.

The physical (pain) and emotional (self-confidence) turmoil acne can cause is really tough to deal with. It can affect how you feel about yourself and your interactions with others. But remember, it’s just one part of your journey, and it doesn’t define who you are or your worth!

The client who made me go solo.

A client came in for a facial and left with 2nd degree burns due to my manager’s negligence. The manager avoided the client, so I stepped in to help, despite being coached on what to say. The client was terrified, and after our first appointment, we were both in tears. I decided to fight for her against the mistreatment and intimidation. When I confronted the manager, her ignorant, uneducated, and frankly racist response led to a meeting. I walked in literally cornered with the owner, GM, and this manager. I said nice 3 on 1 let’s go. They tried to intimidate me, so I repeated my feelings loudly - and to all of them. Well those of you who know me can guess how that meeting went. This is our story, and my client deserves her voice.

A word from my client:
This was really one of the most traumatic experiences for me. I went in for a basic facial, letting them know about my sensitive skin, easy to scar, and hormonal acne, but left with skin I thought would never be the same. The dermatologist only gave me a topical antibiotic, and I was in pain and desperate for help. After being avoided and mislead, Leah finally scheduled me for treatment. Despite my fear, she was kind, gentle, and informative. She explained everything and stayed professional despite the horrific situation. Thanks to Leah, my skin healed completely. I’m forever grateful and will trust only her with my skin! I will follow her anywhere, client for life 💕
