Walking through the front doors of Burton Health Care Center, visitors soon discover the true definition of "home away from home." Just minutes from Middlefield and Chardon, when you come to visit Burton Health Care, just opening the doors allows the warm country atmosphere to pull you in. The comfortable chairs around the fireplace, the gentle sounds from the grandfather clock, the photo album on the table with pictures of our families' memories, all contribute to the relaxed feeling of being close to home. Burton Health Care Center also provides a Short Term Therapy Unit. Located within our home, we have dedicated a wing solely for those in need of short term therapy. We can provide post surgical care for many orthopedic procedures such as hip/knee replacements, rotator cuff surgeries and fractures. In addition to general orthopedic care we also provided extended medical care, wound care, and cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation. Our goal is to return patients to their normal living environment as soon as possible.

Today, we placed Veterans Room plaques outside all 50 of our Veteran’s Rooms (Homes) ~ a simple but meaningful way to honor those who have given so much to us.
Each of these plaques represents our respect, our appreciation & our promise to care for those who have cared for us.
Here, at Burton Healthcare we are so deeply proud of our VA contract & the opportunity it gives us to make a positive difference in the lives of Veterans who have made a lasting difference in ours.

Our diningroom was transformed into a dazzling gala for our Starlight Soirée compliments of Open Waters Counseling & Recovery.
Residents & staff truly had the best time, an wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, great company & unforgettable moments.

Our Residents had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year last evening!
The celebration was full of smiles, laughter & fun as everyone gathered together in the activity room to toast to the New Year. From yummy treats and fun conversation to sharing joyful moments with one another the room was bursting with excitement.

Ho Ho Ho!! 🎅 🤍🎅
Santa arrived at Burton Health Care Center & brought all kinds of gifts, smiles, and Christmas cheer for our residents!

Last evening after dinner, our residents bundled up & headed out on a festive road trip to Louisville, Ohio to experience a two Holiday Light Shows one from a Veteran owned light show & also Elegant Illusions wow, what a night they had!!
The displays lit up the night and filled our bus with pure excitement.
Along the way, everyone stayed cozy sipping hot cocoa, singing along to holiday music and sharing stories & laughter.
Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the Grinch himself hopped aboard our bus to surprise our residents! The joy, laughter, and priceless smiles said it all.
Moments like these so full of warmth, laughter, and togetherness truly capture the magic of the holiday season.

When there’s snow outside, the fun at Burton Health Care doesn’t stop inside!
We turned a cold winter day into a full on indoor snow day celebration with a snowball battle and it was an absolute blast!
The dining room was filled with laughter, smiles and playful competition as our residents and staff joined in on the “snowy” fun.
