Here's another glimpse into Lauren's training regimen when she was pregnant. We consider factors like these when training women who are navigating pregnancy.

Pregnancy # 2 has had some unique challenges. I didn't start with as much muscle mass so I'm pretty depleted now. On the flip side, I've been able to do more strength training this time. Keeping up with karate training has been difficult. Gaining 1/3 of your bodyweight over a 5 month period doesn't leave a lot of time for the joints, tendons, and ligaments to keep up. I train slowly, but try to spare my lower body when I can.

My sleep sucks, my back usually feels great, and by belly hurts all the time. 😆👊

The first mini-session will begin in April. Classes will be held on Wednesdays, 5:00pm-6:00pm and is open to kids 3 through 18 years old.
