We understand the holidays can be a trying time. If you would like to meet with someone, please reach out to any one of the leaders to coordinate a meeting. We would love to meet with you one on one in between Christmas services.

Are you looking for a family friendly New Year's Eve event? Look no further!! We will be doing Family Game Night on New Year's Eve from 7pm - 10pm. We even have our very own Singo host that will bring the fun!!

We all have that inner monologue. How does yours speak to you? Is it uplifting and encouraging? Is it convicting you to do better and make positive change? Is it shaming you for what you've done or what's been done to you? Is it trying to remind you how much "better" you were in your hurts, habits, and hang-ups?

God speaks to us many ways and sometimes through that inner monologue. How do you know if it's really God speaking to you? Take it back to His Word. Compare it to the Scripture. God will never contradict Himself. Talk to your sponsor or accountability partners, they can help guide you.

The enemy has a tricky way of trying to use our past and our shame to manipulate us into staying stuck or even going backwards. Don't let him!! You are worth so much more!!

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will sn**ch them out of my hand." John 10:27-28

Thanks Nate for last night's teaching!! What was your big takeaway?

Hopefully you were able to pick up on something to get you out of your box. The biggest takeaway for me is acknowledging that you have to work your recovery completely and in your time. It's ok to step back and work the previous step or significantly slow down on the one you're working. It's ok to acknowledge that you are afraid to make the necessary changes, as long as you use your tools and accountability partners to help find the strength to start moving forward.

The year is coming to a close and we're just about finished working through our CR lessons. How are you doing? Do you feel like you're hung up at a particular step? Are you still holding onto bitterness? Do you feel like you haven't changed the way you think you should have?

Join us tonight as Nate brings us lesson 25 - Seven Reasons We Get Stuck. He will talk through some of the most common things that may trip us up as we're working our recoveries and potentially have kept us from finding the healing we're looking for.

We all have those areas of our lives that are harder to address. The dysfunction we hide away or stuff deep down to we don’t have to face it. The problem is, they don’t stay hidden. Those hidden areas actually are like poison and will seep their way into every other part of our lives. They sneak up on us when we don’t expect it.

Instead of hiding away from our pain, let’s address the mess. When you bring the ugliness out into the light, it loses its power over you. You also then get to really break it apart and get rid of it for good.

“I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.” Psalm 32:5

I wish there was a magic cure that I could give everyone and you'd be better today. It's just not the case. Recovery is a process. Each step must be taken in its appropriate time and space. If you try rushing through the steps, you won't grasp everything that steps needs to teach you. If you get frustrated and give up too soon, you'll quit before your miracle.

Trust the process. Don't anticipate what comes next. Live in the now and do everything you can to do the next right thing. God is working a miracle in you!! Keep doing the work and one day you will see it.

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Matthew 6:34
