How many times have you been told "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" or "put on your big boy pants"? We live in a world that believes we can do anything by ourselves, including solving our biggest problems.

Unfortunately, that completely goes against God's design. He made us for community.

"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ." 1 Corinthians 12:12

In order to receive the support and healing we all need, we need others to come alongside us and provide the parts we're missing. We were never meant to fight our battles alone.

Join us any Wednesday and find a community that will walk alongside you and complete your missing pieces. FREE childcare and dinner at 6:30pm. Worship and large group at 7pm.

It doesn't matter what you did or what was done to you. That's doesn't define who you are now or can be tomorrow. God has a beautiful way of taking even the most broken past and turning it into a masterpiece. Don't allow yesterday to take charge of the potential to be found in tomorrow.

"to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified." Isaiah 61:3

There's a good reason we talk about Testimony Night being our favorite night of the month. We get to hear someone tell their story of how they found themselves in the darkest pit, but by the grace of God found their way out.

Don't be afraid of the darkness. Surround yourself with strong accountability partners that will walk with you through it. There is hope. You will find your way out. Yes, you may be struggling today. If you allow God into that struggle, you may be the inspiration for the next person tomorrow.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you." Jeremiah 29:11-12

Thanks Ginny for last night's teaching!! What was your big takeaway?

I love how the recovery principles can be found in the day to day, even in something as seemingly unrelated as KPop.

The joy of Celebrate Recovery is we walk this journey together. No one fights their battles alone, unless they choose to. And who would choose to? It is incredibly encouraging to walk alongside others who share my same struggles. It brings me hope to look to those who are farther down the road than I am. It gives me tremendous joy to encourage those who are just starting their journey.

Join us any Wednesday and be part of this wonderful community of broken people who are seeking Jesus and encouraging one another to find healing.

FREE childcare and dinner at 6:30pm. Worship and large group at 7pm.

What do I love most about Celebrate Recovery? Community.

Every week I'm surrounded by people who love me exactly where I am, no matter how much I'm struggling that day. The best part is, they don't allow me to stay in that dark place. I will be encouraged and challenged to take the next step.

Have you found your community?

"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
