When Mom looks back on those early years, she remembers how heavy it felt. Around 19 months, constipation became a constant battle. There were tears, disrupted sleep, vocal stimming, and unpredictable moods. As her daughter grew, it became clear she was navigating ASD and was mostly nonverbal. Loud noises overwhelmed her. Certain foods made things worse. Even simple routines felt hard. 😩
Mom did what so many dedicated moms do. She researched everything. She cleaned up her daughter’s diet, tried biomedical approaches, homeopathy, massage. Some things helped briefly, but the constipation always returned. When you are relying on enemas just to get through the week, you know there has to be something deeper going on. 🔍
More than anything, she wanted steady digestion, better regulation, and to hear her child’s voice. 🗣️
Scans showed high stress patterns in her daughter’s nervous system. When the body is stuck in stress mode, digestion slows, sleep struggles, emotions spike, and communication becomes harder. Her body was not broken. It was overwhelmed. 🌪️
Instead of chasing symptoms, we focused on calming and supporting her nervous system. 🧠
Gradually, things began to shift. Her daughter became more regulated. Sleep improved. Directions were followed more consistently. Then came a moment Mom will never forget. 😱
“Mia pooped 3 days in a row without an enema… that’s basically never happened!” 🙌
Soon after, sounds turned into words. She began saying “Mama” again and even used a short word in their native Marathi language. For a mom who had waited so long, those words were priceless.😃
Today, there is hope. She is enrolling her in activities and working with a one on one skating coach for nonverbal kids. The journey is still unfolding, but the progress is real. And for this family, that changes everything. 💙
