Today, we're sharing how to make banana bread the whole family will want and be able to sink their teeth into! This recipe only needs a handful of pantry staples and a few overly ripe bananas, but the end result is a tender, moist batch of bread that will have you coming back for more every time.
You’ll need:
🍌 2 ⅓ cups mashed, overripe bananas
🧈 ½ cup butter
🍞 2 cups all-purpose flour
🥥 ¾ cup brown sugar
🥚 2 large eggs, beaten
🍞 1 teaspoon baking soda
🧂 ¼ teaspoon salt
How to make it:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2️⃣ Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
3️⃣ Beat brown sugar and butter with an electric mixer in a separate large bowl until smooth.
4️⃣ Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
5️⃣ Stir banana mixture into flour mixture until just combined.
6️⃣ Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
7️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 60 minutes.
8️⃣ Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
