Our Remembrance Rally was a great success, and we even made front page of the Butler Eagle newspaper! Awareness of Mental Illness and its ravages was raised, and we can only pray that the causes of this epidemic will be found and addressed soon.
Many thanks to Betty Walker, Matt Karns, Dr. Fuller, Commissioner Kevin Boozel, and Pastor Karns for juggling their schedules and speaking at the event. Thanks too to all those who attended to pay tribute to those deceased, and to support Mental Illness Awareness.
See you all again next year!

We had a great Recovery Fest Event today, and despite the heat, a great turnout! Fortunately, we had events inside as well as outside so folks could escape the heat. Thanks to all who participated and everyone who attended. Special thanks to Wendy whose wonderful Sound Bath Meditation was interrupted.

RECOVERY FEST IS TOMORROW!

Get ready for a fun, informative day!
he event starts at 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

AT: Grapevine Center 140 N. Elm Street, Butler, PA 16001
PARKING: we have a parking lot on the
corner of East North Street & N. Cliff Street, Butler.
and a shuttle bus to bring you back to the Grapevine.

There may be parking in the street outside,
also, there is parking all along Franklin Street, if you prefer

The parking lot is opposite the old Junior High School.

Coming from Main Street direction, you would turn left onto Franklin Street from Jefferson,

Turn left onto East North Street and right onto N. Cliff Street To access the parking lot.

Parking lot is on the Right.

Franklin Street is the street before Elm Street, so just about a block and a half away from the Grapevine Center.

Please park on the side closest to the United Methodist Church ( the blackened stone church on the corner of McKean St and East North Street (& N. Cliff Street, a very short Street)

We kick off the event at 11:30 AM with a Yoga Class, so be sure to join in.

During Lunch we will have a presentation on “The Saboteur Within,”
and afterwards, have a Sound Bath Meditation.

At 2:00 PM There will be a presentation on “All About Wellness”

3:00 PM Raffle in the Great Room.

Therapy dogs will be working the crowd

Thank God for Dr Davies research into the shocking lack of scientific underpinning of the DSM! This was an audacious power grab by a small cabal under a Dr. Spitzer, to push through an agenda in a breathtaking abuse of power. Dr. Andrew Feldmar has aptly compared the DSM to the book the Inquisition used, Malleus Maleficarum, during the middle ages to decide who was a witch....
