On Monday, we had Slippery Rock University students from the Recreational Therapy program lead the residents in cardio drumming. This drumming is a form of musical fitness that encourages endurance and motor skills, all while listening and tapping the drum to your favorite music. These students are a part of a short program that allows them to build skills while providing activity for the residents. A huge thank you to SRU's Recreational Therapy program for reaching out and setting up such a wonderful program!

This month, we will be collecting donations for VOICE. VOICE is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit organization located in Butler County, PA. They are the sole provider of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crime services in Butler County.

As we raise awareness for VOICE we ask that you please consider helping by donating the following: shower caddies, wash cloths and towels, toilet paper, thermometer, multivitamins (adult/kid), cold/flu meds (adult/kid), band aids, wipes, feminine products, tooth brush and tooth paste, and book bags for our residents to make care packages with your donations!
