Thank you to the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) and PVA Representative John Kellner for generously donating Easter bags to Veterans in our Domiciliary program and Community Living Center.

April is Whole Health Month, and throughout the month we’ll be highlighting the voices and experiences of Veterans who have participated in Whole Health programs.

Our first story comes from U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Samantha Loftus:

“My experience with Whole Health programs has been amazing. The personalized health plans have been the most helpful part for me, and the most challenging has been defining my own health goals. Through these programs, I’ve improved my overall well-being and lowered my stress. Veterans, I encourage you to explore these programs—especially taking the time to define your personal health goals. Doing so can truly motivate you to achieve them.”

For Women’s History Month, we give special thanks to the brave women of the 6888th Central Postal Battalion. The Six Triple Eight were 824 enlisted and 31 commissioned Black women, drawn from the Women’s Army Corps (WAC), to boost morale by tackling a backlog of U.S. forces’ undelivered mail.
