St. Urho King vote, and also Our St. Patrick’s king and queen vote that will start Monday.

🍇☘️ St. Urho’s Day – March 16

St. Urho’s Day is a fun, tongue-in-cheek holiday celebrating the legendary Finnish hero who supposedly saved Finland’s grape crop by driving away a swarm of grasshoppers.

Created by Finnish Americans in the 1950s, the day is celebrated with the colors purple and green, playful storytelling, and plenty of humor—often as a lighthearted warm-up to St. Patrick’s Day.

“Heinäsirkka, heinäsirkka, mene täältä hiiteen!”
(“Grasshopper, grasshopper, go away!”)

A quirky tradition that celebrates heritage, laughter, and a good story. 🍇💜💚

With deep Irish roots and traditions tied to Butte, Montana—their music was a powerful tribute to culture, history, and community.

It wouldn’t feel like home if we didn’t have bagpipes playing in March. Blessed to be in Butte, America and we’re so excited for St. Patrick’s Day and the big parade! ☘️
