We take mental health and su***de very serious here at Whiteline. We have doubled our mental health training so our students can have a long and healthy career, and have a better understanding as they respond to mental health calls.

So we had a guest speaker at our Great Falls and Butte EMT classes this weekend.

Deputy Fredrick Lee and I worked together in Wolf Point and I was there when his 13 year old son committed su***de which has made our bond stronger. Since then his wife and himself have been travling all over doing su***de awareness to educate people of the warning signs, statistics, how to talk with someone thats thinking of su***de and more !

We are always honored when he comes to our classes and helps our students start off on the righr foot with mental health.

I want to take a moment and thank everyone who helps at whiteline ! There are many behind the scenes folks to the ones who do lectures, sets up scenerios, plays a patient, administrative support and more.
We have instructors from 1 year experiance to 30 years of experiance!

We also have folks who help play a patient with no medical experiance. This gives us a real inside look as they dont know what is suppose to be done, just how they felt during the scenerio.

Even our medical director was a paramedic for many years working the streets of Las Angeles before furthering his education and coming to Montana.

Our lead instructor is always making sure were using up to date material, watching protocols for changes and working closely with other instructors.

It takes an army to run these classes and I am blessed to have so many folks who volunteer their time to make sure our students have an amazing experiance and are prepared the best they can be.

Another great day with Great Falls EMT course! Thank you to Benfis Community Care for bringing their ambulance as well today. The group practiced more loading and unloading into the ambulance, and then did a couple scenerios while in the moving ambulances!

We have another set of EMT courses coming up !!!

Great Falls starts January 29th

Butte starts March 29th !

These courses are full of hands on practice and then putting the book knowledge to practical use in our realistic scenerios! We give you both understanding of why and how!

Our course has won two years in a row for Best EMS education by Distinctly Montana Magazine !

We offer payment plans so dont let finances stop you from helping your community, or just gaining medical knowledge!

We have classes going on right now in both locations, your welcome to come in and observe and see if its something you want to do!

Great Falls EMT class rocked another weekend of scenerios putting that book knowledge to hands on! Its one thing to see a power point and think you got it, but do you? These scenerios put them to the test as well as building confidence !

Thank you to the Butte instructors who traveled over to help as well as the guests who played patients!

Thank you to Katy from Jefferson Valley EMS and Resuce for visiting with our Butte EMT students about their service and opportunities!

We also put the students to a new challenge of" working "in the back of a moving ambulance. The students realized how hard it is to hear blood pressure, keep your balance at times and doing cpr is completely different than on the floor !

Butte EMT course started putting some of the lectures to hands on! This is the time that students start to build confidence, and putting the concepts together.

The students enjoy putting the equipment to use, and starting to figure out what the emergency is. The power points and lectures start to come to life.
