I’ve been dreaming of hosting this kind of gathering for years and the fact that it finally happened, with these incredible humans, makes my heart feel full times a thousand.

On the longest night of the year, we slowed down.
We connected to horses.
We stood by the fire and let things go.
We got our hands messy making lanterns to carry light forward.

We ate a ridiculously good meal thanks to and shared space that felt warm, real, and deeply nourishing.

To everyone who came: 🥰 thank you for bringing your presence, your joy, your tenderness, and your willingness to be fully in it. You are what made this Solstice so special!

And if you were hoping to come but couldn’t make this one… don’t worry……
I’ll be hosting another day retreat in the spring! squeeeeee!

Every tiny step back to love is worth celebrating!

This is your reminder:
✨ You’re allowed to grieve and grow at the same time.
✨ You’re allowed to crave softness and a slow evening.
✨ You’re allowed to be both tender and powerful.
✨ You’re allowed to feel your feels and say no to outside commitments.

Society is telling you to speed up, to do it all, but nature is begging you to rethink that story!

Winter is meant for softness, for reflection, for deep breaths and for slow and steady bravery into the unknown depths of ourselves💛

Whether your loss was this year or six years ago, you deserve joy and gentleness woven through your holidays!

You deserve the kind of joy that doesn’t require you to be “over it.”
And the kind of gentleness that lets you opt out of what feels heavy and lean into what feels nourishing.

The holidays can be confusing sometimes. They hold both the heartache and the light. The grief and the glitter as I like to say!

Give yourself the freedom to "F" the rules and make new traditions or say no to the work party that has nothing but kids running around triggering your heart left and right. Say no and instead stay home making a beautiful wreath that holds all the love you have for that heartbeat that was in your womb!

There’s no one right way to grieve and there’s no timeline.

Grateful for all the rainbows in my life 🌈

The friends who feel like family.
The clients who I’ve worked with this year. The joys that surround me daily. There is so much goodness in my life, I feel full to the from with gratitude.

But, Thanksgiving also carries a quiet thread of grief. There’s a soft ache in the background. A cloud that never fully leaves.

I miss my Dad. I miss my Papaw. most of all, I feel the absence of my two angel babies.

The grief doesn’t overtake me like it once did.
I’m very much enjoying today… laughing, eating pie, hugging my people. But if I get quiet, and look just beneath the surface, the grief is still there. And that’s okay.

Joy and grief can sit at the same table.
They often do.

I don’t have a rainbow baby earth side with me, but I do have rainbows! All the people, moments, memories, nature and love that colors my world.

If you’re holding grief today for the angel babies who won’t be joining you at the dinner table,
I see you. I honor you. I’m lighting a candle for them with you.❤️🧡💛💜💚💙

Winter Solstice has always been a sacred turning point in the ancient Celtic new year, a time when communities gathered around firelight to honor the darkness but more importantly, welcome the return of the sun, and connect to the ✨light✨ even within us.
