Did you know that we offer a free support group for breastfeeding moms?

Our Lactation Support Group meets at 12:30 PM here at South Shore Hospital on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Led by nurses who are certified in lactation counseling, these sessions offer guidance on latching, milk supply, pumping, cluster feeding, and more.

Our nurses will weigh your baby before and after each session to determine how much your baby takes during a single feed.

This group offers a welcoming, supportive environment, with only mothers, babies, and our nurses allowed in the room.

Our team rang in the New Year with the arrival of Caleb, our first baby of 2026!✨

Baby Caleb arrived at 1:41 a.m. on New Year's Day, weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and measuring 20 1/4 inches long. Congratulations to parents on their new addition!
