We're proud to share that our CEO, Scott Miles, has been honored with the ESGR Patriot Award! 🇺🇸

The Patriot Award, presented by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), recognizes supervisors who go above and beyond to support employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve and their families. This support can include flexible scheduling, time off before and after deployments and understanding the unique responsibilities of our nation's citizen warriors. Scott was nominated by a service member in recognition of his commitment to supporting those who serve.

Congratulations, Scott, and thank you for your leadership and dedication to supporting our military community! ❤️ 🤍 💙

Staff Spotlight! ✨

We asked our Executive Assistant, Krista, to share her why behind the work she does. Krista shared:

"I have always loved helping people and I wanted to find a career that I could impact lives for the better and to spread happiness. Since 2022, I have cross trained in different departments and each one has helped me serve our patients every step of the way. From helping people through the admission process, to learn healthy coping skills and even setting them up with services after discharge. It didn't take long to realize working in mental health is where I am meant to be."

When she heard about Southridge Behavioral Hospital opening, Krista knew she wanted to be part of building something special.

"I wanted to be part of creating an atmosphere that allows our patients to feel safe to work through whatever it is they are going through and to work alongside others who have the same goal. I have now been working for Southridge for over a year and half and I am blown away by the amazing people who choose to come here every day to help serve our community and join me in spreading happiness."

We are so lucky to have Krista as an integral part of our team and the person who helps keep us all organized. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Daylight Saving Time is almost here! ⏰

This Sunday, we "spring forward" and set our clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Saving Time. While the extra evening sunlight is nice, losing an hour of sleep can throw off our routines and even impact our mental health. Here are a few tips to help make the transition easier.

Most importantly, give yourself grace if you feel a bit off while your body adjusts. Small steps can make a big difference. Take care of yourself as you head into the weekend! 🌞

Spring is almost here — just 16 days away! 🌷

As the days get longer and the sunshine starts to return, it’s a great time to reset, refresh and focus on taking care of yourself. March always feels like a little reminder that brighter days are ahead.

This month, we’re feeling lucky — lucky for our community, for moments of growth and for the chance to support mental wellness every day. ☘️ Take some time to get outside, breathe in the fresh air and do something kind for yourself.

Today, we're shining a light on two very special team members who help set the tone for every single person who walks through our doors, our amazing receptionists, Michelle and Jamel. They are the first faces you see, the first smiles that greet you and the warm welcome that helps everyone feel safe and comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Michelle has been with us since day one, and her dedication, consistency and heart for both our team and the people we serve have made such a lasting impact. She truly embodies the spirit of our organization, and we're so grateful for the care and commitment she brings each and every day!

Jamel is currently in training, and we're already so excited to have her on board. Her positive attitude and eagerness to learn has been such a great addition to our front desk, and we can't wait to see her continue to grow with us.

Thank you both for being the friendly, welcoming presence that means so much to our staff and the families we support. We appreciate you more than you know! 🧡

It might be , but kindness doesn't have to be limited to just one week. A few kind words. A simple compliment. A note of encouragement. Sometimes the smallest gestures can mean the most. Taking a moment to offer positivity or speak words of affirmation can brighten someone's day and remind them they're seen, valued and supported.

Kindness doesn't have to be big to make an impact. A thoughtful message or a few uplifting words can create a ripple effect that reaches farther than we realize. Let's carry this spirit with us and continue spreading positivity, encouragement and compassion throughout 2026 and beyond. Because a little kindness truly goes a long way! 💜✨
