Salty Vibes will house the first dry salt therapy(halotherapy) room in Ogle County! Salt therapy is a natural therapy that has been practiced since the 18th century. Salt rooms are said to be energizing and rejuvenating, can help cleanse both the airways and the skin; in general, it can be healing for the mind, body and soul. Greg and I both share a love for the sea and salty ocean air and wanted to bring all the healing properties possible to our location. We discovered salt therapy through a local friend seven years ago and have been intrigued with how halotherapy improved our respiratory issues as well as improving our relaxation and mood. Excited about the benefits and the overall relaxed feeling we received when going to salt rooms and the fact there wasn’t a salt room within an hour of home, the planning began and our vision is becoming a reality. The salt room contains beautiful pink Himalayan salt decor and a modern and efficient booth from Salt Chamber, LLC, of Boca Raton, Florida. Salt Chamber is one of the world’s leading authorities for educating, consulting, marketing, training, and distributing the best salt therapy products and services around the world.
