In the last two days I have used the shockwave on hip muscles, shoulders, forearms, neck, thumb trigger finger, carpal tunnel. Everyone felt a change in their symptoms either increased range of motion or less pain and discomfort.

After talking with the Shock wave trainer today I learned that the use of NSAIDS are not contradictive to the treatment, but should not be used over an area recently injected with steroids. That is great news for alot of my patients on prescription or OTC anti-inflammatories. I am also able to treat more that one area at a time, but just not on the same visit. For example, I could treat a shoulder/neck on Monday and a foot on Thursday. Once the area has resolved, expect the longevity of the treatment to be more than 6 months to over a year, unless there is re-injury.
