We’re so excited to announce Emilee Cope has joined the Iris collective!!
Emilee Cope, LCSW, is a compassionate therapist with 8 years of experience working with children, teens, and families. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a strong background in supporting individuals with serious medical diagnoses, depression, anxiety, trauma, and family conflict.

Emilee is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and growth, empowering individuals to overcome life’s challenges. She utilizes a cognitive behavioral and acceptance and commitment approach, and has additional training in EMDR and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).

A proud Cabot native and Cabot High School alumna, Emilee now resides in Austin with her husband and daughter. When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and with family.

We’re thrilled to announce Kaci Miller, LPC, has joined the Iris Counseling collective!!

Kaci Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has spent several years working with a high concentration of families and children experiencing trauma, supporting their mental health needs throughout child maltreatment investigations in a Children’s Advocacy Center. She also has experience working with children who have engaged in problematic sexual behavior and their caregivers. Kaci is passionate about spending time with people of all ages, listening to stories and making connections, while kindly challenging comfort zones after having spent time building trust. Her approach tends to be cognitive behavioral and she considers herself compassionately trauma-informed and an LGBTQIA+ ally.

Kaci has been married to her partner for 12 years, and they have two children and a variety of pets with fur, feathers, and scales. She enjoys traveling with her people, learning new things, cooking when she doesn’t have to, reading, and writing.

We are excited to announce Kayla Carter, LPC, has joined the Iris collective!

Kayla Carter is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) that believes in helping others find their strengths to promote healing and achievement. She started her journey as a middle school teacher, then obtained her counseling degree from Harding University in 2020. She has worked with children, adolescents, teens, and families struggling to manage symptoms related to anxiety, depression, and life changes. She works to help strengthen the familial bond and individual skills to foster positive relationships and self-love. She uses a cognitive behavioral and person centered approach to provide an individualized experience.

Kayla has been married for 10 years and has 3 children. She enjoys reading, coloring, puzzles, shopping, traveling, sports, and fall weather.

We are so excited to announce our newest addition to the Iris team!! Brittany Blair is an LPE-I and has over twenty years of experience. We are so thankful and excited to have you on board!!

“Hi, my name is Brittany Blair and I’m super excited to be joining the amazing team at Iris Counseling! I worked with the owners of Iris, Chelsea Glover and Matt Davis, for several years at another agency and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them again. I’ve been a mental health professional for twenty years working with a wide range of clients and diagnoses in outpatient, school-based, home-based, day treatment, and residential settings. As a Licensed Psychological Examiner-Independent, I’ve conducted both therapy and psychological testing services during my career. I really enjoy working with children in a school-based setting. I love the collaborative nature of working with school staff to help educate and positively influence young minds. I view it as a privilege to be invited into a school to provide mental health services to students. My approach to therapy is client and family centered. Because everyone needs something different from therapy, I utilize strategies and techniques from a variety of evidenced-based therapies to help clients meet their treatment goals. I enjoy using art and play activities with children to help create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for clients. As an Iris therapist, I’ll be working with students at Magness Creek Elementary, Southside Elementary, Cabot Middle School South, and Cabot Junior High South.”
