Respiratory viral season is here!!!
Viral infections have no “treatment”, do not respond to antibiotics and require supportive care such as increased fluids, saline drops and suctioning.
It is best to wait it out a few days before making an appointment if your child is drinking and not having respiratory difficulty.

This video is full of great information for all the parents out there!

Tonight’s topic is FEVER!!
If your child is under 2 months of age a fever of 100.4 or greater requires immediate medical attention.
If you or your child are immunocompromised or unvaccinated then a fever requires quick medical care.
This video is perfect for understanding fever.

This is a quick guide to help you decide where you should be seen.
There are always exceptions to the rules including medical history, immunocompromised, etc.
When in doubt call your Providers office for guidance, they can help triage your needs.

It’s that time of year again so we will be posting videos or information regarding different illness symptoms, what to do for them and when you should call your provider or go to the ED.

We will cover the most common topics asked in clinic and will break these up over the week.

Please remember we have an after hours line that is for URGENT medical needs that cannot wait until the clinic is open.

Please be mindful of and respect our providers time with their families and only use the after hours line for URGENT medical needs.

Due to the increase in abuse of the after hours line we will start charging the $15 per call fee for each call that is not urgent. This fee is not billed to your insurance, it is your responsibility to pay prior to any further appointments being made.

Non-urgent questions can be sent via our patient portal and will be answered during business hours only.

Our Providers care about each and every one of their patients but they deserve some time away from the clinic with their families without constant interruptions, many times regarding non-urgent situations.
We are aware that not all clinics have the providers themselves responding to these calls, but we feel they are the best ones to answer your questions as they are the ones who know you. If the after hours line continues to be abused we will be forced to source out our after hours care.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Stay tuned in the coming days for some great educational material.

With more families in need right now than in the past, we would love to be able to keep the pantry stocked with nonperishable foods, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, lotion and deodorant.

Donations can be brought inside the clinic M-F 8-5.

We are also collecting hats, gloves and warm socks. Please bring these into the clinic.

If you are in need of any of these items and the pantry is not stocked, please come in and let us know your need so we are able to assist you!
