Our Ready to Work Campus Connect's host Brody Johnson has some good reminders about creating a more inclusive Halloween.

Halloween can be overwhelming for some — with bright lights, loud sounds, and crowded spaces. This season, let’s remember to choose kindness as our costume. 🧡

✨ When a child doesn’t say “trick or treat,” they may be nonverbal.
✨ If they seem “too old” to be trick-or-treating, they may have a developmental delay.
✨ If someone can't access your porch because of a physical disability, meet them where they're at.

Let’s create a community where everyone feels welcome, seen, and safe — because a smile, compassion, and kindness can make all the difference in the world. 🌟

Our Cabot Adults helped pass out candy to our preschoolers last week, and while they were there, Megan and Savannah were so excited to see their favorite princesses!

It turned out to be the perfect birthday present for Megan, who had a birthday this week. Seeing these smiling faces makes our day!

🎃👻 Trick-or-Treat Fun at Building Bridges! 🍬✨

Our Cabot preschoolers had a spooktacular time trick-or-treating around the building last week! 🧡 They showed off their adorable costumes and collected candy from staff — and even got to visit with our Cabot Adult clients, who joined in the fun by handing out treats. 🎭

It was such a sweet way to bring everyone together for smiles, laughter, and Halloween spirit across our programs! 💙

our Ready to Work students had the privilege of hearing from guest speaker Timberlee Gasparro , who shared her inspiring story of perseverance and positivity.

Timberlee spoke about overcoming obstacles, the challenges she faces as an individual with dwarfism, and how she’s learned to embrace her uniqueness with confidence. 🌟 She encouraged our students to think outside the box and to never let what others say define what they can or cannot do.

We’re so grateful to Timberlee for reminding us that strength, courage, and determination come in all sizes. 💪💚

🎭 Lights, Puppets, Action! 🎭

Our Lonoke Adults had a blast putting on their very own puppet show for Lonoke Head Start! They performed three short puppet plays, showcasing not only their creativity and teamwork, but also the importance of providing individuals with disabilities opportunities to give back, share their talents, and engage meaningfully with their community.💫👏

It’s amazing to see how activities like this build confidence, communication, and joy — all while bringing lots of smiles to our Building Bridges family! 💕
