“Treat people like Jesus died for them”

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Good morning! Two great things that should be constantly on our mind is, treating others as God would have us treat them, and remembering how good God has been to us. We should treat others like Jesus died for them, because He did. We will never meet anyone that Jesus did not love so much, that He died for them. Wow! No matter what you think of them, or I think of them, Jesus thinks of them, that He loves them so much, that He was willing to die for them. So, may we see people as He does. We are all created, and loved, and important to God. Also, may we never forget the mercy and grace, and love, that He shown us. And may we be as quick to be merciful to others, as we would want them to be to us. And may we do unto others, as we would want them to do unto us. And when we live this way, we will be quick to love and forgive others, because they are precious to God, and we will remember that He has been so good to us, that we will want to be good to others. What a joyful way to live!

“There are two ways one can display their strength. One way is to push others down, the other is to pull others up”

“I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.” (Psalm 30:1)

Good morning! My encouragement to us today is simple. Use the strength that God has given us, to strengthen others. One of my favorite scripture verses is found in 2 Corinthians chapter 1. It tells us there, that “God is the God of all comfort” (verse 3). This means, that there is nothing that we go through, that He does not have the desire and the ability to comfort us in. Then in the next verse it tells us, that God not only comforts us for our sake, but also for the sake of others. It says that God comforts us, that we would then comfort others. And then He says how we are to do it. “By the comfort we ourselves are comforted of God” (verse 4). So, the truth shared here is, that God gives us strength, that we might strengthen others. How can we “pull others up” today? Certainly, a great way we can do that is by prayer. We use a phrase in our church during our prayer times, “Let’s lift them up in prayer”. Perhaps a word of encouragement as well. In Deuteronomy chapter 1 God told the people to find Joshua and “encourage him” (verse 38). And we can do the same. Find someone who needs encouragement, and give them a word of encouragement. It goes a long way. And when we do these things, we find that not only is it a blessing to them, but it is also a blessing to us. I pray you have a veery blessed day, and week to come.

We love hearing stories like this 💙

A recent patient, A.Z., called in to share her gratitude after her knee replacement—and gave a special shoutout to Mark and Christina for the exceptional care she received. She shared that she’s “bouncing back” faster than expected, and credits it to the dedication and support of her care team.

Moments like these are a reflection of the compassion and excellence our staff bring every day. Thank you, Mark and Christina, for making such a meaningful impact!

“Let us go to Calvary to learn how we may be forgiven. And then let us linger there to learn how to forgive.” Charles Spurgeon

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Good morning. There is so much that we can learn, and should learn from the cross. The truth is, there is more to lean there than we could possibly learn in a lifetime of learning. But one of the greatest things to learn is forgiveness. Literally while He was being crucified Jesus was forgiving those who were doing those horrible, hellish things to Him. Many Bible scholars believe that of the 7 times Jesus spoke from the cross, when He said “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” that this is something that He said repeatedly. So, as we think this week of the amazing love and sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ may we remember His great forgiveness of us, and may we like Christ be willing to forgive others. Someone once wisely said that when we forgive someone, we set a prisoner free, and then we realize that prisoner was us. O thank you Lord, for your great forgiveness of me, and may I forgive others for your sake. And when I do, I will realize it was also for my sake.

“Jesus- man’s best friend, has conquered death- man’s worst enemy.”

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death I sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

Good morning. As we take time to reflect on all the Lord Jesus did for us, I pray and trust you will have a very blessed time. May we take the time to reflect on Christ’s great sacrifice and glorious resurrection for us. May we understand and appreciate His amazing love, and rejoice in His glorious power! Arguably the 6 greatest words ever spoken were spoken 2,000 years ago at the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. The first 3 “It is finished”, redemptions price has been paid, and “He is risen”, He has conquered death, and hell, and grave for us.

I am often reminded that the hymn writers often say it best, and I enjoy referencing them. One of my favorites says this:
“Living, He loved me;
Dying, He saved me;
Buried, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever:
One day He’s coming- oh glorious day!”
