SilverStar Medical Billing Service LLC is currently seeking a highly motivated Credentialing Specialist to join our team. A Credentialing Specialist is responsible for completing the application process that allows healthcare providers to become in-network with various insurance companies.

This is a part-time, contract (1099) work-from-home position, up to 20 hours per week. We will provide the necessary equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for working with healthcare providers and insurance companies, completing and submitting credentialing paperwork (both online and hard copy), following up with insurance companies on application progress, and maintaining comprehensive provider files.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in following up with insurance companies and providers, and committed to staying informed about evolving credentialing requirements. A strong drive to complete tasks accurately and efficiently is essential.

We are expanding once again and have a part-time billing position available. Approximately 30+/- hours per week. Contract/1099 position (no benefits). Work from home. Must have a secure work area and good internet service. Laptop & printer/scanner provided. Paid each Thursday. Pay based on experience.

No experience needed, but some type of medical background is desired. Must be computer proficient and know Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs. Needs to be detail-oriented, enjoy doing investigative work, think outside of the box, and able to work without distractions.
