Today our team at WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital wore blue to recognize Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and help raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early detection. 💙

We’re also celebrating Employee Appreciation Day, which gives us the opportunity to recognize the incredible people who make our hospital such a special place. Every day, our staff shows compassion, dedication, and teamwork while caring for our patients and supporting one another.

WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital had a wonderful time participating in Literacy Night at Harrison Central Elementary! 📚✨

Our team loved spending the evening with students creating custom bookmarks while talking about healthy habits and the importance of reading. It was a fun way to encourage both learning and wellness in our community.

We even got to see our friend, Sheeba - Therapy Dog!🐾

The Auxiliary at WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital recently funded the purchase of 10 new office chairs and new wheels for five Environmental Services carts — helping improve staff comfort and daily efficiency throughout the Hospital.

Though just three members strong, the Auxiliary continues its longstanding commitment to strengthening the Hospital and supporting the team who care for our community every day.

Over the last several decades, the Harrison Community Hospital Auxiliary has invested more than half a million dollars in equipment and improvements — a testament to their dedication and heart for service.
