HFD Fire and EMS is responding to multiple emergencies at this time to include a working structure fire and vehicle accidents. Personnel are reporting debris and trees blocking multiple roads.

* Tornado Warning for...
Northern Montgomery County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 935 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Oak Grove, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Clarksville around 940 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Woodlawn.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 7.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

* At 931 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Fort Campbell to 6 miles east of Erin, moving
east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Springfield, White House, Millersville, Greenbrier,
Coopertown, Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Guthrie, Pleasant View,
Orlinda, Adams, Cedar Hill, Slayden, Cheatham Dam, Palmyra,
Cunningham, Woodlawn, and Black Jack.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 105 and 121.
Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 31.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for Middle
