We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our healthcare team in Donalsonville. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and supporting the nursing staff in delivering exceptional care.

This position is perfect for individuals passionate about helping others and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient service while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Transfer and ambulation

Positioning and repositioning clients to prevent pressure sores/injuries

Assisting clients with personal care, grooming, dressing, oral care, etc.

Performing light housekeeping tasks

Practicing infection control measures

Planning and preparing meals according to nutritional needs

Shopping, bill paying, and running errands as described in the service plan

Providing companionship and mental stimulation

Transporting clients to and from medical and social appointments

Documenting services provided

Reminding clients to take medicine and offering minimal assistance as needed

Observing and documenting any changes in the client’s condition

Reporting abuse as required by agency policy and licensing authorities

Complying with agency policies and procedures

Experience

Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not required

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
