The guest speaker, Dr. Tessa Davis—a Cairo, IL native now residing in Atlanta, GA—shared her inspiring message with attendees. ELO member Kanci Houston was also recognized as an NAACP Honoree, adding a special moment of pride for our chapter.

The ladies of Epsilon Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. gathered at Port Cape Restaurant & Lounge in Cape Girardeau, MO to honor 118 years of sisterhood and service to celebrate Founders’ Day. We extend heartfelt appreciation to our Pearl, LaVerna Thomas, for sharing her reflections and wisdom from more than 50 years of membership. Kudos to the Founders’ Day Committee for a job well done.
