Dr. Goldstein has devoted more than 20 years to the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. She is the founder and director of Westchester Child Therapy in Scarsdale, NY, and Calabasas Child and Adolescent Psychology in Calabasas, CA. Within the scope of her practice, she conducts comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, provides psychological therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment, and teaches executive functioning and study skills for academic success. Her specific areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of:

Dr. Goldstein holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, a masters degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University and a doctoral degree in School-Clinical Child Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This unique background, in both education and psychology, informs her approach to treatment and the use of comprehensive interdisciplinary support. Dr. Goldstein completed her clinical psychology training at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell, Montefiore Medical Center, and Columbia University’s Medical Center. At these institutions, she worked with individuals and families on a variety of social and emotional issues, including: anxiety, depression and suicidality, attention and behavioral issues, intra-family dynamics, school related difficulties, and adjustment to medical diagnoses. As an expert in the field of neuropsychological assessment, Dr. Goldstein has taught as an adjunct professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is trained in a variety of specialized reading and writing programs, including: Lindamood-Bell, Preventing Academic Failure, and Orton-Gillingham. Dr. Goldstein has developed a specific program focused on organization and study skills, to assure the academic success of students. She also created Developing Executive Function Skills for Academic Success, a manualized program for training teachers, which has been implemented across the country. Dr. Goldstein lectures on topics related to emotional resilience, ADHD and executive functioning, school support, and a wide variety parenting and family topics. Dr. Goldstein is married, has three children, and works bi-coastally in Calabasas, CA and Scarsdale, NY.
