Jesse Giunta Rafeh, M.A. Live Better My mission is to provide people with an opportunity to be the best version of themselves. Why do we sometimes fail to reach our potential? I can help.

We are all unique, and when we allow that uniqueness to shine, we become lovable, productive, successful and happy people. Not because we do not want to be happy and successful. Rather, it is because of obstacles that block our ability to live the life we want. It is because we have developed poor coping strategies, anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. As a teenager I struggled with all four of these obstacles, but through the process of my own therapy, I discovered that I could create the life I wanted. Because of my success, I decided to help others clear their own paths to happiness. If you feel like you are not on the path to creating fulfillment and joy in your life, call me.

There’s something so special about getting to watch his little mind work 🥰🎨

The way he sees the world and the stories he creates!

Watching Leo step into his creative side has been one of my favorite things lately!

Reminds me how important it is to let ourselves create just for the joy of it 🤍

Leo found a snow ball maker NYE... and it's been his fav toy since!

I’ve been absolutely pelted all winter long... and honestly?

Worth it 😆

The squeals and the sneaky grins after every hit!

It’s funny how the simplest, most random find turns into the highlight of the season!

You'd never say to a friend what you say to yourself after making a mistake 🥲

For a lot of high-functioning people, empathy flows easily outward and stops cold when it turns inward.

That's not a character flaw either, that's your survival mind doing exactly what it was built to do. Keeping you hypervigilant, alert, never quite settled. It kept you safe for a long time.

The hard part is that same mechanism wasn't designed for the life you're trying to build now!

Learning to work with your survival mind instead of being run by it changes everything 🙌🏼

Live Better is now enrolling now! 12 weeks of exactly this kind of work. Link in bio to book a free discovery call.

Leo’s first big run after riding the lift all by himself 🥹

He was so determined!

Just “I got it!” and then immediately… “FASTER!” 😅

Watching him push off, trust his little skis, and chase that feeling of speed made my heart explode.

There’s something so powerful about seeing your child fall in love with something that shaped you too.

The mountain gave me so much when I was his age...

Confidence, freedom, resilience.

And now I get to watch it do the same for him 🙌🏻

Proud mama moment for sure 🤍❄️

So many people come to me believing they need to overhaul themselves completely...

→ Read more books.
→ Develop better habits.
→ Build a whole new mindset.
→ Become someone more patient, more confident, more together than they currently are.

And I understand why!

When you keep bumping into the same walls, the conclusion feels obvious... something about you must need fixing🤷🏻‍♀️

But after thousands of hours sitting with people in this work, here's what I actually see: The grounded, capable, clear version of you already exists.... You've felt it before.

When? In moments of real connection, or unexpected calm, or when you handled something hard with more grace than you expected.

That's your true self. And it was always there ✨

What gets in the way are the survival patterns that formed long before you had any say in the matter. They helped you navigate environments that required them. But over time they just became the default, running in the background, covering over something steadier underneath.

The work is clearing space for what's already in you. Gently, consistently, with curiosity instead of judgment.

You're not building a new self, you're finding your way back to the one that was there all along! 💛

If this resonates, Live Better starts April 7. A 12-week course designed to help you do exactly this kind of work, with support, structure, and people walking the same path. Link is in my bio to book a free discovery call.

Same park… totally different vibe!!

Winter swaps green grass for snow and sunshine for crisp air, but somehow it feels just as magical.

Leo still finds his favorite ladybug 🐞

He doesn’t care what season it is, he just sees adventure!

And being with him reminds me to do the same.

He makes everything more fun and way more interesting ❤️

Watching the world through his eyes might be my favorite part of motherhood.

Forgiveness feels complicated when it seems like you're letting someone off the hook 🪝

But the person who hurt you was almost certainly carrying their own unresolved pain. As the saying goes, hurt people hurt people... not always intentionally, not always consciously, but consistently.

That doesn't erase what happened, and it doesn't mean you have to accept it.
It just means their behavior was never really about you.

When you can see that clearly, forgiveness becomes something you do for yourself and not for them.

Save this if you're working through something like this!

Think about the last time you said something you regretted 😅
.. Or shut down when you wanted to stay open. .. Or snapped at someone you love, even though that's not who you want to be.

Chances are, your nervous system was already flooded before that moment even started.

This is something I see constantly in my work!

People who are genuinely kind, self-aware, and deeply committed to growing and they still find themselves reacting in ways that don't reflect who they actually are.

When your system is activated, the part of your brain responsible for patience, clear thinking, and thoughtful communication goes offline. What happens in these moments is that you're not accessing your worst self, you're accessing your most scared self.

Regulation is the foundation that everything else is built on. When your nervous system feels safe, you think more clearly, you listen better, you make decisions you can actually stand behind.

Learning to regulate your nervous system first changes everything downstream. When you're settled inside, the version of you that you actually want to be has room to show up!

This is exactly what we work on inside Live Better. The course starts April 7!

Alone in a massive Mammoth storm and I’ve never felt more like myself ❄️🙌🏻

Just me, the mountain, and that quiet, steady place inside that feels like home!

There’s something about riding in a storm that really gives your perspective...

You just drop in, trust yourself, and feel every turn.

This is my True Self!

Living my best life, not because it’s flashy, but because it’s fully mine 🤍

A lot of high achievers worry that self-compassion will make them soft 🫣

But the clients I watch move fastest aren't the ones pushing the hardest, they're the ones who've learned to get quiet enough to hear themselves think.

Clarity comes from that place... and so does real motivation!

Save this if you needed the reminder today!

And if you're ready to do that deeper work, my 12-week course Live Better is now enrolling. Link in bio to book a free discovery call.

Most people think transformation looks like a breakthrough moment ✨

→ A decision
→ A revelation
→ Something that finally clicks and changes everything

But after working with hundreds of clients, here's what I actually see: lasting change happens slowly. In fact, it's almost boring.

It's the person who pauses before reacting, just once, and notices something new about themselves.

It's the conversation that goes slightly differently than it always has.

It's one small shift, repeated enough times that it becomes who you are.

Your nervous system doesn't trust big leaps. It trusts consistency and safety.

It grows through steps that feel manageable, not steps that feel like you're white-knuckling your way through.

So if you've ever felt like you're failing because change feels slow, you're not failing. You're actually doing it right!

The Live Better course starts April 7. Twelve weeks of exactly this kind of work. The link is in my bio to book a free discovery call!

Family days like this remind me what actually matters 🤍

No schedule or rushing through the day.

Just fresh mountain air and belly laughs with my two favorite guys 🏔️🥰

There’s something about being on the mountain that strips everything back to simple!

It’s not about the perfect run or the perfect plan...

It’s about being present and letting the day be enough!

These are the memories that stick 🤍

Grateful for days like this!
