This past Thursday, Silverado Calabasas was filled with extra warmth, laughter, and some truly "interesting" knitwear! We hosted our Family & Friends Ugly Sweater Holiday Dinner, and we are still beaming from the joy of it all.

We are proud to share that this was our biggest turnout of the year which means so much more to us than a room full of smiling faces. It represents the deep partnership and trust we share with the families we serve. Seeing residents, staff, and loved ones connecting over delicious food and festive fun is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who donned a sweater and brought such genuine smiles to our community. You made this holiday celebration incredibly meaningful for all of us.❤️

"Deck the Halls" is an understatement! We're dripping in holiday magic at Silverado Calabasas!

'Tis the season, and we are absolutely beaming! The entire community has poured their hearts into making our home the most festive place in Calabasas.

Every resident has added their own special touch, turning our halls into a winter wonderland filled with warmth, sparkle, and holiday spirit. There is truly nothing quite like the magic we feel when we celebrate together!

Shining Bright This Hanukkah! ✨

Our residents are lighting up the community! This year, we celebrated the Festival of Lights by creating our own beautiful Hanukkah lights.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn and share, as our friends taught us about the deeply held Hanukkah traditions passed down through generations. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories and their light!

A Village of Sweet Memories!
We had such an extra sweet treat celebrating National Gingerbread Day here at Silverado Calabasas! Our amazing residents from Nexus and Community Living put their creativity to work, designing and decorating intricate Gingerbread Villages.

What a magical night celebrating our incredible Silverado Calabasas associates! ✨

Last week's Associate Holiday Party was the perfect way to cap off the year. Our rockstar team dressed to the nines and brought all the holiday cheer! We enjoyed a delicious catered dinner from Panini Grill, a crowd pleaser, for sure. We played some silly holiday games, and made sure every associate felt special with a wonderful gift from our leadership team raffle.

Our associates deserve to be celebrated every day for the heart and dedication they show, and this time of year is the perfect time to show our gratitude for all they do!

We served up cups of festive warmth, sweet treats, and a whole lot of love this week! 🥰 It was the perfect way to share some holiday cheer with our amazing team.

We even had some of our wonderful residents stop by help set up! It warmed our hearts to see them so eager to show their thanks too. ❤️

We celebrated National Brownie Day by mixing things up! Instead of a classic recipe, we challenged our creative residents to transform red velvet cake into actual brownies. Talk about a holiday twist! 🎄

The challenge was a huge success—the brownies came out both festive (hello, beautiful red color!) and delicious.

We absolutely love our monthly cooking demos with our wonderful friend, Maria! ❤️

Maria is not just an amazing cook; she has a huge heart and loves sharing her family favorite recipes with our residents. These dishes instantly become community favorites—and this month was no exception!

A massive thank you to Maria for showing us how she makes her truly delicious Chicken Parmesan! It was a fantastic afternoon of learning, laughing, and tasting. We can't wait until next time!

This unique drink was a first for many of our residents—and the verdict is in: it’s delicious, especially once you add a touch of sugar to suit your taste! It's all about trying new things and making it your own.

Happy National Cookie Day from Silverado Calabasas!

We celebrated by turning our community kitchens into a cookie factories! The entire community pitched in, making dough from scratch and baking their chosen favorites.

Our Community Living residents focused on beautiful sugar cookies, while our Nexus group mastered the Snickerdoodle. The smell of fresh-baked cookies filled the air and made the day so cozy and sweet!
