Don’t let the rain make you a lazy dog….tap into that positive vibration! Did you know that down dog (adho mukha svanasana) stretches the entire body while simultaneously strengthening it and creating blood flow to your joints? The longer you are able to hold it the more adaptable you become to “poses” on and off the mat:grounding through your hands, lengthening through your arms ,extending through your spine,pressing softly through the backs of your thighs and knees, engaging your core muscles,and sinking the heels down towards the earth. Feel the whole body empowered and touched. What pose makes you feel the most grounded or empowered??Comment below.
