Want a strong core? Here’s a powerful flow that’s less than 40 seconds. This isn’t just planks-it’s a dynamic sequence that builds real strength. Plank holds. Transitions. Movement. All designed to engage your entire core and stabilizer muscles. Plus it activates the joints in your knees, shoulders and hips. If you feel strong repeat it 3-4 times. Do this sequence 3-4 times per week to feel the difference in your stamina, range of motion, stability and posture. Form is important so move slow. Not sure about your form? Come to one of our power, vinyasa, or strength building classes. Our teachers will guide you through proper alignment so you get it right. Lower back pain? You’re not alone. 90% of people deal with it too. Here’s a quick sequence you can do right now. No props needed. Just your mat or any floor surface. Check it out and spend as much time in each pose as you need. You can even repeat this sequence for better relief. Start on your back with your ankle above the opposite thigh for rocking twist for 8-10 reps on each side. Come to Bridge pose (hold 30 seconds to 1 minute) to strengthen the glutes open the hip flexors and release tension in your spine. Hug your knees in to release low back and hip flexors. Move to cow and cat on all 4’s, arching as you inhale, rounding as you exhale. 8-10 reps. Spinal traction (bird dog) opposite limbs lift off the floor. Keeping hips level extend your arm and leg away from your center to decrease compression on vertebral column. Hold 5-10 breaths on each side. Finish in child’s pose drawing hips to heals. Hold for 30 seconds up to a minute. Do this sequence 3-5 times a week and notice a difference in just a few days. Still hurting? Come in person. Our teachers specialize in modifications and ways you can improve mobility and strength to release tension in your back and body. First class new students. Only $10. Come as you are.

This spring, we’re opening our 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training for those who feel called to go deeper.
