I have called all appointments for today from my personal phone. I reached most, but not all, and it may be because it was a number they didn't recognize.

Please share this post as we would hate for someone to show up to a closed office.

It’s been a rough two days for the Chapman crew. 💔

I don’t have the right words to cure anyone’s pain. This is a time to mourn and cry. I told my staff to stick together and love each other. I would say the same to the community and to anyone who knew her, to anyone who is affected by this.
�I fully believe Chesne had a relationship with Jesus and she’s with him now. In her new body, free of the pain and sorrow.
Walking streets of gold with the apostles and her grandfather, in the presence of Jesus.

(Please give our staff some grace and space in these next few weeks. They will of course want to remember and celebrate her life but
I don’t want them to have to answer questions at the shop.
It’s still very raw and will be for some time.)

Chapman’s would like to create a scholarship in her honor for a graduating senior at Caldwell High School.

We will be open Friday from 7-1 and all sales and tips from the day will go to fund the scholarship.

(We will be closed again on Saturday for the funeral)

Several people have asked for other ways to give so I have created a link through Fellowship 41 Church that anyone can donate through and make sure to select the "Chesne Scholarship" and I will coordinate everything between the coffee shop, the church, and the scholarship fund.

Construction on the sidewalks around The Square will begin today. The project will start at our office and is expected to last through mid-February and be completed as a whole by springtime. This may cause minor inconveniences when trying to park and enter our office as parking spots have been closed and the sidewalk will be removed temporarily. The village and construction company have informed us that we will have access to the office the entire time, so we expect to remain open during the construction.

Please plan accordingly to allow time for parking and entry. If needed, we can accommodate entry through the back access door, but only if necessary as this step is taller than the front.

While we understand the frustration of some, the end result is much needed as some spots of the sidewalk were in major disrepair and a hazard to those who utilize the sidewalks. The update to the sidewalks will aid in maintaining Caldwell's small town charm.

We ask that if you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment to call and cancel. We typically schedule to capacity 2 or 3 days a week and have to schedule others a day or 2 later only to have several no shows by the end of the day. With notice, we could call someone on our cancelation list. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our cancelation policy.

Due to the need for additional hours to accommodate everyone wishing to schedule this week, we have opened up Wednesday afternoon until 4pm.

Please note that we do not have anymore availability for Monday (12/29) and Tuesday (12/30) only has a couple of spots left.
