Southwest District Health only issues WIC benefits. Idaho Department of Health and Welfare issues SNAP benefits. Southwest District Health will continue to provide WIC benefits through the government shutdown, and will will inform WIC clients and retailers if anything changes.

WIC and SNAP work together to ensure:
➡Infants and toddlers get the nutrition the need to grow.
➡Parents can put food on the table during tough times.
➡Communities stay healthier and stronger.

Bring non-perishable items to the Caldwell City Hall building through this Friday, November 7th.

📢 Happening NOW -City Hall Food Drive!
We’re coming together to support our neighbors during these trying times. From now until Nov. 7, City Hall will be collecting non-perishable food items to help local families in need.
Every can, box, or bag makes a difference. Drop off donations in the lobby during regular business hours and help us spread a little hope and kindness across our community. ❤️

Heads up to those who use our Caldwell facility: due to Karcher Rd. (ID-55) construction updates, Idaho Transportation Department no longer allows left turns onto Karcher Rd. from S Florida Ave. When leaving our Caldwell facility, please follow the recommended alternative route if you need to travel East on Karcher Rd.

WIC remains open and business as usual, and any changes will be communicated to WIC clients.

Through the federal government shutdown, the WIC program is open and continuing business as usual. Clinics will be open, and you can use your WIC card like normal. We will let clients know if anything changes.
