🧡 Help Us Feed Local Families This Thanksgiving and WIN a FREE massage 🧡

This Thanksgiving, I want to come together as a community to help families who could use a little extra support. My goal is to provide full Thanksgiving meals for 4 families in need right here in our area and I’d love your help to make it happen.

For every item donated your name will be put into a drawling for a free massage 💆🏻‍♀️

We’re collecting the following items to create complete meal boxes:
🍖 Ham or turkey (or gift cards toward either)
🥔 Boxed mashed potatoes
🧈 Gravy
🌽 Corn or green beans
🥫 Stuffing mix
🍞 Rolls
🥧 Pie or dessert mix
🧃 Juice or drink mix
🥫 Canned cranberries
🎁 Disposable roasting pans and foil

If you’d like to help, you can drop off items at our office or we can arrange a time to pick them up. You can also donate cash or gift cards, and I’ll do the shopping to complete the meal boxes.

📌 Ways to Help Forward Head Posture

Forward head posture (sometimes called “tech neck”) happens when the head juts forward instead of stacking naturally over the shoulders. Over time, this can cause neck pain, tight shoulders, headaches, and even reduced breathing capacity.

Here are some simple ways to correct and prevent it:

1. Check Your Workstation
• Keep your screen at eye level.
• Sit with your back supported and feet flat on the ground.
• Avoid looking down at phones or laptops for long periods.

2. Strengthen Weak Muscles
• Chin tucks: Gently pull your chin straight back (like making a “double chin”) to strengthen deep neck flexors.
• Scapular squeezes: Pull shoulder blades together to improve upper back stability.

3. Stretch Tight Muscles
• Chest stretch: Open arms wide against a doorway to stretch tight pecs.
• Neck side bends: Gently tilt your ear toward your shoulder to relieve tightness.

4. Daily Movement
• Take posture breaks every 30–60 minutes.
• Roll your shoulders back and down.
• Stand up and walk to reset your posture.

5. Massage & Bodywork

Neuromuscular massage therapy can release tight muscles, restore balance, and reduce pain from poor posture—helping you maintain long-term correction.
