Last year being my first to share the fun at Christmas time with the public..I am again this year inviting all who want to share the spirit and bring joy to our residents lives..Santa comes every year and brings gifts so whoever would like to adopt a resident please send me a message and I will share some information about a resident with you..I’ll share male/female..likes dislikes ect..gifts would just have to be back to me by Monday December 15 so I can get ready for our party ..let me know if you’d like to participate in gifting a resident at Christmas! This year I have decided to do a little something different! As well as donating to the food shelf we have decided to have a silent auction and all proceeds will go to them as well. Each of my departments as well as myself have gotten together and did a different themed basket! So bidding is open at the front desk if anyone wants to come support our local families who need a little help this year!

So we have a door decorating contest going on right now and our RN Brooke was going to decorate the nurses door. What she found was too big so she expanded to the dining room for all to enjoy!! With the help of some of our rcas they got residents as well as staff hand prints to make a turkey! Turned out so great! The residents were thrilled after they seen what their hands built!! Amazing job everyone!!!

Our first tree is up at Claddagh! Our residents with the help of our activities coordinator Carolyn Goree..made blessing bags (toothpaste..soap..toiletries..socks ect) they then decided to donate them to the high school to help our community kids in need. School social worker Grace Mikula came to get them and talk with our residents! They had a blast making them and even more happiness helping the kids!
