Oversee client care and provide medication assistance after completing Medication Assistant training.

Respond to crises and emergencies, ensuring client safety per Emergency and Safety Policies.

Assist with client admissions and discharges.

Interact professionally with clients’ families and associates.

What is the ACT Program?

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an intensive, inclusive, community-based service for individuals who are seriously and persistently mentally ill and/or may be dealing with a co-occurring substance use disorder that causes the recipient to be at a high risk of admission to an inpatient or punitive level facility. ACT utilizes intensive care coordination and collaborative treatment approaches to decrease recidivism to jails and hospitals while assisting consumers with thriving within the community and living life well.
