✨ Gordon County Community Listening Session Recap ✨

On January 22, 2026, nearly 60 community members, leaders, service providers, and individuals with lived experience came together at The Calhoun Depot for the Gordon County Community Listening Session.
Hosted in partnership with the Georgia Council for Recovery, Recovery Gordon and Recovery Bartow, this evening was dedicated to listening, learning, and strengthening recovery supports across Gordon County.

💬 We celebrated what’s working
💡 Identified gaps and opportunities
🤝 Built new connections and momentum

Key priorities raised included recovery-supportive housing, transportation, youth-focused programming, expanded peer support, and sustainable resources for accountability courts and crisis services.

This was not just a meeting — it was a starting point. Recovery Gordon is committed to carrying these voices forward and continuing to build partnerships that support hope, healing, and multiple pathways to recovery.
Every voice mattered. Every voice helped shape what comes next.
