💙 Today is National Lymphedema Day 💙

Lymphedema affects millions of people and often goes undiagnosed or untreated.

Swelling in the arms, legs, abdomen, or other areas can happen when the lymphatic system isn’t moving fluid effectively. Left untreated, it can lead to discomfort, heaviness, and long-term tissue changes.

The good news? Treatment can make a huge difference.

At GTS Physical Therapy, we have 4 certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLT) who serve our patients across Arkansas.

If you or someone you love struggles with:
• Persistent swelling
• Heaviness or tightness
• Skin changes
• A history of cancer treatment or lymph node removal

A lymphedema evaluation may help.

Due to the extreme cold and road conditions, GTS Calico Rock will be closed again tomorrow in order to keep our team and patients safe. Please stay warm and feel free to call us as our phones have been rolled to our main line. Previously scheduled patients will be contacted by our therapy team for future scheduling. See yall soon!

Due to impending weather that could impact travel safety, GTS Physical Therapy in Melbourne and Calico Rock will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Our office will be contacting current patients this afternoon and tomorrow morning to reschedule appointments so that care is not interrupted.

Our plan is to re-open with normal business hours on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, pending road and weather conditions.
