Okay, before you say anything… let me explain…
A few months ago, I finally accepted the fact that I had couple problems (besides the usual) that I wanted to deal with. Lack of money doesn’t count; I don’t expect that to go away…
First, I was dead tired constantly. Whether it was lack of sleep or stress, I’m not sure – maybe both.
Secondly, NONE of my stinking clothes fit anymore. I had to suck my gut in to button my pants, and blouse my shirt to conceal the folds over my belt.
So, I started trying to exercise. That wasn’t working. As I said, I was already tired, and my bulging gut wasn’t helping.
So I kept looking.
After at least a month of searching, checking out one scam after another, I found something worthwhile.
Herba-Life wasn’t offering a magic pill, diet, or any of the other “wonders” I see before. What they offered was a product, and support system to help me reshape my behaviors. They helped me eat what my body needed. Not that I gave up my favorite meals, desserts, or (Godforbid) beer, I learned how to fit these things into a healthy, not overly-indulgent (yet still fun) life-style.
These ideas, combined with a non-intrusive exercise plan, allowed me to lose 23 pound in the first month. I was then taught to stabilize (which was even easier) so that I have stayed at my target weight (+ or – 2 pounds) for two months. Meanwhile, my energy is up, exercise is easier (Kendra’s got me running and we’re doing a 5k mud run in July), and I’m happier about my body than I have been in… well ever.
I was so happy in fact, that I decided that this needed to be shared.
