Don't let foodborne illness crash your Thanksgiving dinner! While frozen, a turkey is safe. However, as soon as it begins to thaw, any bacteria that may have been present before freezing can begin to grow again! Refrigerator thawing is the safest and recommended method, because the turkey will thaw at a consistent, safe temperature. This method takes some time, so be sure to plan ahead! ⏱️

🤍🩺November is Stomach Cancer Awareness Month🩺🤍
This month is dedicated to raising awareness about stomach cancer, also known as gastric cancer. It's a time to honor patients, families and advocates who remind us that awareness saves lives. It is estimated that 30,300 new cases of stomach cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S. this year alone. BE AWARE-know the symptoms.

🤍To the warriors and their supporters, we see you. This month-and every month- we honor your fight, your tears, your hope, and your victories, both big and small.

💡November is COPD Awareness Month-this month is dedicated to raising awareness about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Nearly 16 million U.S. adults have COPD, and many more do not know they have it. COPD develops slowly and can worsen over time. Many times, we attribute some of the symptoms as just a part of "getting older." But they're not. If you think you may have symptoms of COPD, talk with your health care provider as soon as possible.
