Weston Gerard and Reid Joseph joined our family on January Ninth. They were 5lbs 14.5oz and I went into labor and birthed them naturally. We have been enjoying all of their snuggles through this chilly weather.

Hi everyone!

These are the dates that I will be in the office for the remainder of the year. There are plenty of opening available for you or your children to get in a wellness adjustment before I take off for maternity leave.

If I’m in the office, I want to be there and serve you! I may be a little slower and waddle a bit more, but I love what I do. I’ll add days to my schedule as I can past the new year, but I don’t know when these little guys will decide to show up.

When Rudy was a newborn, I made him a stocking and decided to make two more—one for me and one for Alex. I never got around to putting names on any of them.

Last year when I hung stockings I had this profound feeling that those two extra stocking were for two more babies that would join our family. But, I never in a million years thought it would be two babies at once the very next year. It is still surreal that we’ll have two sweet boys that look exactly the same with us in about a month.

We have been blessed with a very healthy and easy pregnancy and I thank God for that every day. It has truly been a dream.

I’m expecting to take maternity leave at the beginning of January and I really need to work on sending out an email. Things will be very fluid with my return to work, but I plan to follow the same ~6 week timeframe as I have in the past. Will the babies join us at the office? Your guess is as good as mine 😅

I’ve had a few people ask if we need anything, so I do want to mention that we have a registry on Amazon (because I like to take advantage of that completion discount). But we truly don’t need much. We have lots of boy clothes to pass down and are very minimal with baby needs, so please don’t feel obligated. Prayers and well wishes are even more cherished than material items. ❤️

Life is about to get more chaotic around here and Rudy is wondering how he ended up smack dab in the middle of it.

Please be patient with me as my schedule will need more flexibility in the coming months. These babies are identical and share a placenta, meaning extra appointments in Marquette. I’ll be switching around office hours if there’s conflict with those appointments.

This photo has a little hint that this baby needs to be adjusted. Can you see it?

The baby’s left eye (viewing right) is a smidge smaller than the left.

This shows me that a cranial bone, called the sphenoid, is shifted back a little. This shift makes one eye look smaller that the other, but it’s really a cranial positioning issue.

Eye positioning, ear flare, and head tilt are all things that I assess and help correct in babies through gentle chiropractic adjustments as well as cranial work.

Take a look at your baby and check if they have these subtle signs that they could use some body work.

PS: This is Rudy. When he was born he had some jaw deviation and tightness in his cranials that I worked on diligently in his first couple months.

That’s why when we come up with a care plan for you or baby, I give my recommendation. But I also ask what you think.

I want decisions for the care of your family to ultimately be what you want, not just what I say.

A doctor of chiropractic degree means I’m an expert in my field. And yes, I can give you my recommendation, but you—mama—are the expert of your family.

You’re in the driver’s seat and I’m here to serve you. ❤️

A handful of our local doulas and homebirth midwife planned this meet + greet and were sweet enough to ask me to host.

This event is open to all that are interested in meeting our new midwife and local doulas as well as learn about the services they provide.
