AlmaVia of Camarillo provides assisted living and memory care for seniors in a warm, intimate environment that celebrates the dignity and individuality of each resident. From our pet-friendly environment to our onsite beauty salon and library, our beautiful campus houses a vibrant community based on friendship, warmth, and dignity. We are proud to have had the same owner/operator and committed, compassionate staff since our inception 10 years ago.

Veteran's Pinning Ceremony at AlmaVia of Camarillo. 🇺🇸🎖️🇺🇸

The community was honored to have Assisted Home Health and Hospice join a very special Veterans Day ceremony to recognize resident veterans. Each hero was presented with a pin and a certificate in recognition of their service to our country.

As each military branch was represented, their songs played proudly, filling the room with gratitude and pride. ❤️🤍💙

It was a beautiful moment of connection, remembrance, and appreciation, supporting the emotional and spiritual domains of wellness.

🌾Fall Fun at AlmaVia of Camarillo! 🍂🍁🍂

Gardens memory care neighborhood residents had a blast creating some seriously adorable scarecrows in their art program. Armed with colorful construction paper and plenty of creativity, they pieced together some impressive seasonal decorations.

Beyond the smiles and seasonal cheer, activities like this are incredible for residents' overall well-being. Crafting together keeps hands and minds active while strengthening fine motor skills and boosting creativity. But it's so much more than that—these moments spark meaningful conversations, build stronger friendships, and create genuine connections within our community. The cognitive engagement, combined with the joy of working side by side with neighbors, reminds us all why these shared experiences are golden.

Trick or treat and a delightful surprise at AlmaVia of Camarillo last week! 🎃👻🍬

A local Girl Scout troop stopped by to share some Halloween candy and fun, and to show off their adorable and creative costumes. The joy on the residents' faces as they greeted each costumed visitor was absolutely priceless.

Intergenerational visits like these provide powerful emotional and social benefits for our residents. The energy and enthusiasm that young visitors bring create an uplifting atmosphere that boosts mood and sparks genuine connection across generations.

Residents had a wonderful time baking cookies together this past week. They followed the directions step-by-step, gathering ingredients, mixing the dough, and watching as their delicious cookies baked to perfection. The sweet aroma filled the room, and of course, everyone couldn’t wait to enjoy one fresh out of the oven!

This activity supports the Intellectual and Social Domains of Wellness. Baking encourages residents to use memory, sequencing, and focus while following a recipe, which is excellent for keeping the mind active and engaged. It also brings people together, sparking conversation, teamwork, and laughter around the table.

Snaps from the Fall Baking Club at AlmaVia of Camarillo! 🍁🎃🍞🥧🍂

Residents baked the most delicious pumpkin bread this past week. They followed the directions carefully, enjoying the process of measuring, mixing, and baking—activities that are not only fun but also great for older adults.

While the bread baked, the hallways filled with the warm, cozy scent of fall. Afterwards, the residents savored their creations with a cup of spiced apple cider, making the experience even more delightful.

Baking supports multiple areas of wellness. Cognitive well-being is engaged through following the recipe and measuring ingredients. Social well-being is nurtured by sharing experiences and enjoying treats together. Emotional well-being is enhanced through pride in their creations and comfort from the warm smells.
