Are you a caregiver of a child receiving occupational therapy (OT) services looking for resources to help you support yourself and your child? CTC is hosting Venisa Rodriguez, a doctoral OT student from Johnson & Wales University. She and her faculty mentor Tania Rosa, OTD, OTR/L are completing a research study measuring the impacts of an 8-week educational program on caregivers (parents, guardians etc.). Now Hiring: Occupational Therapy Aide
📍 Location: 397 Mobil Ave Camarillo
⏳ Hours: Part-time (25-30 hours per week)
💰 Compensation: [Include pay range if applicable]
I am looking for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Aide to join our team! This role involves working closely with children in special education, supporting occupational therapists in delivering therapy sessions and helping children develop essential skills.
Responsibilities:
✅ Assist occupational therapists with therapy sessions and activities
✅ Set up and clean therapy areas before and after sessions
✅ Support children with exercises and tasks to improve motor and sensory skills
✅ Maintain and organize therapy equipment and supplies
✅ Document progress and provide feedback to the therapy team
Qualifications:
✔ Experience working with children, especially those with special needs
✔ Interest in occupational therapy, ABA, or related fields
✔ Bilingual (preferred but not required)
✔ Patient, energetic, and a team player
