As an herbalist, I've discovered that cultivating a profound bond with the plants you work with is truly transformative.

When I first embarked on my herbalism journey over 7 years ago, I was amazed with information, frantically trying to absorb knowledge about as many plants as possible, mistakenly believing that this would make me more productive in the art.

The plant kingdom is vast and awe-inspiring, offering endless opportunities for discovery, and it's impossible to grasp more than a fraction of it, even with a lifetime of study.

A pivotal shift occurred when I began to connect with nature and spend quality time with the plants, rather than merely studying them. I'd listen to their wisdom, and the ones that had medicinal properties would reveal themselves.

The most valuable advice I can impart to anyone who has insight to herbal medicine is:

"It is far more rewarding to learn 100 uses of one plant than to learn one use of 100 plants."
