Across the country, there is a call for a general pause — no work, no school, no shopping. A moment to step out of the usual grind and remember our shared humanity. We are standing in solidarity with the people of Minneapolis, and we’re opening our doors to our community.

This isn’t about politics.
It never has been.

It’s about what the path of yoga teaches us:
That joy, rest, and action are not mutually exclusive — they are deeply reliant on one another.

We cannot show up for the world if we are depleted.
We cannot act with clarity if we never pause to breathe.
And we cannot care for our communities without first tending to our nervous systems.

December 25 marks a seasonal turning point. From tomorrow on, the days slowly begin to lengthen, guiding us toward the Summer Solstice. It’s a gentle reminder that winter invites us to slow down, reflect, and rest—just as nature does.

Our Winter Schedule begins Monday, December 29.
